I thoroughly enjoyed this book, all throughout. Each chapter is incisive and riveting, leaving me wanting more and more as I continually read. Mr. Lee provides an immaculate synopsis of his life through the unfortunate, yet actual realities of systemic adversity. Something to Think About
The Anatomy of Abuse led me on an emotional roller coaster of sorrow, anger, irritation, and emotional empathy. The characters are well developed and each story serves as a backdrop to an important discussion on various types of abuse. The author's prose is conversational, but the stories don't shy away from ugliness or pain. I recommend reading if you want to "feel" or "think".

Great book! Some parts were hard to read, due to the content being very vivid and emotional. Should be required for psych 101. Will be suggesting this for my book club
